What Are Venue-Based Exams?
Venue-based exams occur when you physically complete your exam in an approved exam centre or at your college. You will complete your exam using answer books and question papers.
What Is The ICB Pass Mark?
To meet ICB pass requirements, you must get:
- 60% to pass your subject
- 50% to pass your final exam
Please note: There are no minimum requirements for your PoE. You need to ensure that it is 100% done by the completion deadline.
How Are ICB Results Calculated?
ICB results are made up of your PoE and final exam. The PoE counts 30% towards your final mark. Your finals make up 70% of your results.
How Long Do I Have To Wait To Get My Results?

No, there are no ICB past exam papers. The content of your studies changes each calendar year. So you run the risk of studying incorrect information and failing your exam.
