ICB PoE Completion Deadline
ICB PoE completion deadline is a brand new ICB rule. You might have noticed a few extra dates on your calendar. These are the submission dates of your portfolio of evidence. All of these dates are set for roughly one week before your exam.
Who is the ICB PoE Completion Date for?
This date applies to all ICB students. It doesn’t matter if you’re writing the online or paper-based exam. You should make sure that your ICB portfolio of evidence is handed in by (or preferably before) the due date.
Can This Deadline be Changed?
No it can’t. Because so much time is given to complete your PoE, the deadline is non-negotiable. You won’t be given extra time, even if you get sick or have any technical issues. This is why the ICB recommends that you submit before the deadline, so you can deal with any problems beforehand.
ICB PoE Checklist
Before you hand in your portfolio, you need to make sure that everything is complete. So how will you know when your PoE is done? Well there is a handy checklist as well as a progress bar so you can monitor your progress. Once everything is ticked off, you’ll be good to go.
Your checklist includes:
- ID verification
- System checks
- Assignments
- Tests
- Admin sections
What Happens if the PoE is not 100% Complete?
It’s best not to leave all your work until the last minute. Cramming before the due date is not ideal. If you don’t manage to finish your PoE, there are a few consequences.
- You’ll be disqualified from writing the exam.
- You will lose your exam booking and have to re-book at your own cost.
- If the new exam date is NOT in the same year as your disqualification, you’ll receive a brand new PoE to complete from scratch.
- If you re-book in the same year, you can simply complete the parts you didn’t finish.
- Your exam entry will show as ECNM – Exam Conditions Not Met.
- You will lose access to sections B and C of your PoE. Once you’ve made a new booking, the sections will return.
