Want to know what it takes to pass your ICB course? Then get all the information you need on the ICB pass requirements. This will help you go above and beyond when studying and getting the marks you deserve.

ICB Pass Requirements
You need to achieve at least 60% in your ICB course. This includes your ICB portfolio of evidence (PoE) and ICB final exam. When your results say ‘competent’, it means you have passed your ICB course. But if it says ‘not yet competent’, then you have not reached the mark.
ICB PoE
Your ICB PoE contains all of your tests and assessments. It makes up 30% of your final mark. Although there is no minimum requirement to pass your PoE, you need to pass all your assessments. This will prepare you for your final exam.
Keep in mind: Your PoE needs to be 100% complete at least a week before your exam. If not, you won’t be able to write your exam session.
ICB Final Exams
The final ICB exam makes up 70% of your results. Here you will need to achieve at least 50% to pass your ICB programme. This applies to both the paper and online exams.

Classroom students – The ICB will send your results to your college. Then your college or training provider will issue it to you.
Distance learning students – You have the choice to check your results on the ICB student portal or wait for your results to be sent via email.
