How to get Your Matric
The process to furthering your studies is simple. We have a couple of options you can choose from depending on your needs. For our adult matric and matric upgrade we enrol you into the exams ourselves. All you need to do is show up, ace your exams and get that matric certificate.
Adult Matric
This option is for individuals who have not yet obtained their matric. To enrol for this you need to be 21 years or older and have completed Grade 9. The exams are set and managed by The Department of Basic Education. We offer this option in partnership with Matric College. Once you have enrolled:
- Your textbooks are couriered to you
- You get access to an online platform where you can network with tutors and other students
- Past exam papers and tutors are made available to you.
Matric Upgrade
If you already have your matric, but are unhappy with your results , this is the perfect option for you. We enrol you for the subjects you wish to improve on and give you access to student support to help you through the process. You can either improve some of your subjects or rewrite everything. To enrol for this you must be 21 years and older.
Supplementary Exams
Supplementary exams are open for students who have recently completed their matric examinations. You can apply for supplementary exams within a year of your Matric final. You can enrol for these exams if:
- If you did not pass Grade 12 but need to pass 2 subjects to obtain your NSC. You can register to retake any number of subjects for your supplementary exam. You need to have written these subjects during their final year exam.
- If you were medically unfit or had another special reason for being absent for an exam.
- In the instance of a death in your immediate family, you may register for the supplementary examination.
To register for these you must contact the Department of Basic Education. You can also contact your previous high school to assist with this.
Can I get a Degree Without Matric?
Can you get a degree without your matric? Unfortunately you cannot, but there are other options available to you. You might not be able to get a degree, but these are your alternatives.
- Enrol into our Adult Matric or Matric Upgrade options. Once you successfully completed your exams, you can go ahead and enrol into the degree program of your choice.
- You can further your studies without matric. We offer courses to study without matric. These courses are just as valuable and credible as any other study program.
- Our ICB and CIMA courses are also a great alternative for students who are looking for credible and quality education. These courses are accredited by professional bodies and serve as a great alternative to a degree program.
Keep your study goals in mind when making your choice. If you really want to enrol into a degree program then getting your matric first with us is your best bet.
Matric Equivalent Courses
A course that is the equivalent of a matric certificate simply means that it is the same educational level as a matric. Matric is a NQF 4 level, so these courses are also on that same level. Unlike matric, these courses are focused on honing your technical skills.
Study Without Matric
If you want to cut all the corners and just get straight into studying, you can do so without your matric. We offer a wide range of courses you can pick and choose from. These are just some of the courses you can study without matric:
