How Can I Pass ICB Exams?
Here are some top tips to help you prepare for your final exams:
- Start studying early
- Finish your PoE on time
- Study a course you are interested in
- Create a study schedule
- Ask for help
Start Studying Early
Cramming is not the best way to study. If you want to pass your course with flying colours, it is best to start studying well before your final exam. This gives you enough time to go through all your subjects at your own pace and make sure you understand each topic.
Finish Your PoE On Time
If your Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) is not completed on time, you will not be allowed to write your exam. Use the PoE checklist on MACCI to ensure that you have done all your assignments. Each subject has its own PoE deadline that can be found on your exam calendar.
Study A Course You Are Interested In
If you are not passionate about the course you are studying, it will be difficult to find the motivation to study and pass your ICB course. Luckily there are three ICB programmes, so you have the option to choose a course that interests you.
Create A Study Schedule
It is important to plan how and when you are going to study. This prevents you from prioritising other tasks above your course. There are many templates online that can help you create a schedule.
Ask For Help
If you are struggling, you do not need to do so alone. The great thing about starting to study early is that you can identify the topics where you need a little more help. This gives you enough time to ask your tutors for assistance.
Although we have excellent student support services to help you pass your ICB course, it is up to you to put in the work.
What Are The ICB Pass Requirements?
To pass your ICB course, you must get an overall mark of at least 60%. This mark is made up of both your PoE and your final exam.
What Happens If You Fail An ICB Exam?
If you fail an ICB exam, you can either rewrite the subject or apply for a re-mark.
What Is The ICB Pass Rate?
In the last five years, over 25 000 students have successfully graduated from ICB programmes.
Are ICB Exams Open Book?
No, ICB exams are not open book. Both your paper-based and online exams will be invigilated to prevent cheating.
Skills Academy is the word support in every way.
