There are so many elements in your ICB portfolio of evidence (PoE). From tests, to assignments and your admin guide, it might feel difficult to stay on top of things. But with your ICB PoE checklist, it just became a whole lot easier.
What is the ICB PoE Checklist?
To help you track your work and progress, the ICB PoE checklist was added. This will help you know which work was completed and how far you’ve come in your course. It will help you stay organised and meet the ICB PoE completion deadline.
ICB PoE Checklist
The checklist includes sections A, B and C. You will be able to check off which parts of your PoE you have completed. It also includes a progress bar that indicates how far you are. When it is 100% complete, you will be done with your checklist and PoE.
Section A
This is the first section in your ICB PoE. It contains the administrative activities you need to complete before you can get started. This serves as an introduction to your course. It helps you become familiar with the process and your conduct while studying with us. It includes the:
- Welcome and introduction
- ICB assessment process and PoE
- Student rights and responsibilities
- Understanding academic dishonesty
- Practice questions
- ICB ID verification process
Section B
In this section, you will find a checklist for your assignments and tests. Assignments 1 and 2 are automarked, as well as test 1 and 2. Assignment 3 is marked manually. Before the final exam, you need to hand in the formative assessment.
Section C
This section differs between students who will write online or at their ICB training provider. If you are writing the paper-based exam, the ICB PoE checklist will include exam preparations and instructions. If you choose to write your exam online, the checklist will include:
- Online exam preparation, instructions and a quiz
- Set up and exam day information
- Technical systems check
Your ICB Exam
If you can’t find your ICB final exam in the ICB PoE checklist, don’t stress. Your exam is not included here, since it needs to be completed before the due date.
What if Your PoE is not Complete Before the Due Date
Unfortunately, if you do not complete your PoE ahead of the deadline, you won’t be able to write the ICB final exam. This includes both the paper-based and online exams. But that’s not all! You will:
- Lose your exam booking and will need to book a new exam.
- Need to pay the full ICB exam fees again.
- Get a new PoE if the booking is in the new calendar year (if the booking is in the same year, you can just complete the outstanding work in your current PoE).
- Have ‘Exam Conditions Not Met’ classified on your exam entry.
- Not be able to access section B and C until a new exam booking
