Although ICB cannot help you with your coursework or study material, there are many ways to receive ICB support. Let us explore how to receive help with your course. Your journey to earning your qualification does not have to be lonely.
Where Can I Find ICB Support?
When you study ICB Courses, there are three main ways to receive support:
ICB Student Portal
This is the first form of student support from ICB. All new students have to start their journey here. You can use the ICB student portal to:
- Sign up for ICB courses
- Book an exam
- Update your personal details
- Check your exam results
- Make payments to ICB
- Monitor progress in your ICB course.
ICB Knowledge Base
The knowledge base is like a digital helpdesk for all your burning questions to be answered. You can find helpful information about exams, registration, your PoE and more.
ICB Facebook Page
The ICB Facebook page is your ultimate go-to for recent ICB news. And if you are lucky, you can sometimes find early bird specials for registration and exam fees.
Your Training Provider
ICB is an external exam body, which means they cannot help you with questions that have to do with exam prep or coursework. This is why your training provider is your best bet for all your academic questions. If you are unhappy with the support you are receiving from your current college, you can easily change training providers.
What Are ICB’s Contact Details?
If you want to speak to ICB directly, there are two ways to contact them:
- BennyBot
- Contact Us page
BennyBot
BennyBot is a chatbot on ICB’s website. You can ask it all your questions. But if it cannot give you the answer you are looking for, you can create a ticket. It will take ICB about 48 hours to respond to your query. If you do not want to wait, you can try rephrasing your question, making it easier for Benny to understand.
Contact Us Page
If your question is more complicated, you can fill out a form on ICB’s contact us page. You can even attach documents that relate to your request. To get started, all you have to do is:
- Fill in your information on the form.
- Select whether you are a ‘new student’ or a ‘registered student’.
- Tell ICB what your question is about (exams, registration, results etc.)
- Add any extra information, including necessary documents.
Can I Get ICB Support Over The Phone?
No, unfortunately ICB does not offer any help over the phone. It is best to create a ticket on their website or speak to your training provider.
How Must I Contact ICB During The Online Exam?
If you are having trouble during your online exam, you can use the live ChatBox available on MACCI, and support agents will help you out. Remember to include the email address you use on the student portal so that ICB can confirm that you are a registered student.

No you cannot study directly through ICB. This is because they are not a college. ICB is only responsible for setting your exams and ensuring you receive a certificate at the end of your course.
Can I Self-Study ICB Courses?
Yes you can self-study ICB courses, but it is not recommended. Self-study students do not have the same level of support that college-based students have. Tutors can make a big difference in how you perform in the final exam. And at the end of your course, only a college can give you a graduation ceremony, not ICB.
