What Are ICB Online Exams Technical Requirements?
To qualify to write the ICB online exams, you need to have the right:

An Internet Connection
Since you will write the ICB exam online, you must be connected to the internet for the duration of your finals. This includes:
- A wired connection such as an ethernet or network cable
- Minimum 5MB download speed
- At least 5GB of data to complete the entire exam
Hardware
Along with the internet connection, you need the following tools to write your online exams:
- Desktop computer or laptop
- Webcam with 1280×720 resolution
- 4GB Ram
- Basic or scientific calculator
Software
PC users need to use either Windows 8 or 10, whereas Mac users should Mac OSX Sierra. Additional software requirements include:

What Are The ICB Online Exam Requirements?
To qualify for the exam, your entire portfolio of evidence (PoE) needs to be completed by the completion deadline. This is one week before your ICB final exam. If your PoE is not complete, you:
- Will forfeit the exam booking
- Need to re-register for the exam
- Pay the full exam fees again
If the exam you are re-registering for is in the same calendar year, you only need to complete the outstanding coursework. But if it is in the new calendar year, you need to start a new PoE.
ICB Portfolio Of Evidence
You can find all your coursework in your digital portfolio of evidence (PoE). You will have a PoE for each of your subjects. This consists of:
- Assignments 1, 2, 3
- Tests 1 and 2
ICB Macci
Complete your PoE on ICB Macci. All students will have access to this platform while studying an ICB course. You need to use Google Chrome to access Macci and complete your work.
Please note: If you use any other browsers, you might not be able to access all parts of your PoE.

ICB Online Exams

If you study in person, your college will book your exam. When you study via distance learning, you must book your own exam through the ICB student portal. To book an exam, you must:

- Search and choose an available exam date.
- Click ‘add to basket’.
- Check your booking to make sure there are no mistakes.
- Select payment method.
- Make a payment.
ICB Exam Rules

- Classroom students – Your training provider will issue your results to you.
- Distance learning student – You can find your results on the student portal. It will also be sent to you via email.
When Will I Receive My ICB Results?
Results are released within seven weeks after the final exam. You can check the ICB online exam timetable to know when you will get your results.
What Is The Pass Mark For ICB Exams?
To pass your ICB course, you must meet the pass requirements. Get at least:
- 50% in your finals
- 60% to pass the subject

What Happens If You Fail An ICB Exam?
If you fail your ICB exams, there are two options:
- Rewrite
- Re-mark
Rewrite
You can rewrite the exam you failed. You do not need to redo your PoE if it is within the same calendar year. To rewrite, you must register for the exam again and pay the exam fees.
Re-mark
If you think your results are incorrect, you can request a re-mark. Remember to request a re-mark within a month of getting your results. Submit the re-mark application form and pay the fees.
