How Important is the Format of a CV?

What to Include in a Manager’s CV

Personal Details
Your personal details should appear right on top of your CV. Keep in mind that this doesn’t mean you should talk about your personal life. It simply means that you should include the following:
- Name and surname
- Cell number
- Location
- Email address
Professional Profile
Your professional summary or profile should be one paragraph. In a few sentences, sum up your career aspirations. You should also state what your current position is if you are working. If you aren’t, note down what position you have previously worked in.
Key Skills
When applying for a position, recruiters always include a list of skills they are looking for in their candidates. This is your opportunity to tailor your skills to what recruiters are looking for. It’s your chance to brag about yourself a bit.
Education and Qualifications
In this section you should list your education and qualifications. This will include your highest qualification achieved. You should state what institution you attended and when you graduated.
Career Experience and History
All positions require you to have experience. You can also include internships and voluntary work. Note down what position you’ve worked in and how long you’ve worked there.
References
References are your previous or current employers. You should include their names and current contact information. Before filling out this section, you should ask permission from your superior.
