A teaching Diploma is usually awarded to you by a technical or vocational institution. You can, however find them at distance learning colleges as well. The great thing about teaching diplomas is that they only take up to 18 months to complete.
Degree in Teaching
There are various levels of teaching degrees that you can earn. Each of which has its own estimated duration period. You can earn a degree by doing an undergraduate course in teaching and then move to a postgraduate degree.
- Bachelor’s takes four years to complete
- Honours and masters are an additional two years after completing a bachelor’s
Requirements to Study Teaching
Every teaching course has different entry requirements, it all depends on the institution. If you don’t have a matric certificate, you don’t have to worry. There are teaching courses that don’t require matric. That’s right, all you have to do is find the right course for you.
