How to Qualify for the ICB Final Exams?
Whether you step into an exam venue or take your seat in the online exam, it all comes down to one thing – your ICB PoE. If you didn’t pass or PoE or complete it on time, you won’t be allowed to write your final exam. You need to hand it in before the due date.
Requirements to Pass Your PoE
The assessments in your PoE consists of three assignments and two tests. Combined, you will need to achieve at least 50% to move on to the final exam in your ICB course.
When to Submit Your PoE
All due dates are available to you on the ICB timetable. The due date for all submissions is a week before the test. So you need to submit it ahead of time to qualify for the ICB final exams.
ICB Exam Types
Passed your PoE and submitted before the due date? That’s great!. But now you’re probably wondering about the type of final exam that’s in store for you. There are two exams types – paper and online exams:
Paper Exams
This exam will be written at your training provider’ college or ICB approved exam venue. You need to complete your answer sheets and hand them to the exam invigilator. There are usually limited seating available. They generally take place in the morning between 09:00 – 12:30.
Online Exams
No need to leave your home to take your final exams. These exams take place online via the Macci portal. You need to meet all the ICB technical requirements to write the exam. These exams take place between 13:00 – 16:30.
Minimum Requirements to Pass Your ICB Course
Okay, so you know you need to complete and pass your PoE to qualify for the ICB final exam. But what exactly do you need to pass your ICB course? No need to look any further! Below are the minimum requirements to pass this accredited programme. You will need to achieve:
- 50% in your final exam
- 60% to pass the subject
