Registration Information
Your registration fee should be paid in January each year. All registrations take place via the ICB’s student portal. It’s recommended that you pay through the portal so that the payment is processed faster. You’ll also get automatic access to your portfolio of evidence (PoE).
2023 ICB Fee Structure
The 2022 ICB fee structure has changed slightly since last year. Make sure you get up-to-date with the latest prices so you can be fully prepared with both your studies and finances.
If you’re studying in-person, your institution will handle the payments. But if you’re studying via distance learning, you’ll have to pay the ICB directly. Below you’ll find the updated ICB fees for 2023.

Payment Methods
There are many payment options available. So you’re sure to find one that works for you. When making a payment, remember to use your ICB reference number or South African ID number as your payment reference. This way the ICB will know which student has made the payment.
- Credit Card – The ICB welcomes credit card payments. You can pay safely and securely on the student portal.
- EFT/Bank Payments – You can also make an electronic payment or visit your nearest First National Bank.
Please note: The ICB does not accept any cash payments. If this is your only option, you will have to make a deposit at an FNB bank and then send them your proof of payment.
Skills Academy is the word support in every way.
