Planning to write your exams this year? That’s great! The exam timetable for the ICB now runs in line with their academic year, which is from April 2022 to March 2023. Here’s what you need to know about ICB exam registrations for 2022.
ICB Exam Registration for 2022
The ICB exam registration for 2022 is now open, so check the ICB calendar to plan your studies. All exam registrations and payments can be done online through the student portal. You can choose to write paper-based or online exams. Make sure you take note of the type of exam you booked.
Exam Registration Dates
Don’t risk missing a single exam or registration date. The ICB has now created an interactive online calendar. This means you’ll be able to add all your important ICB dates straight to your device’s calendar so you don’t forget any of them.
A few changes have been made to the exams:
- There are now more exam date options
- Paper exams can be written twice a year
- Online exams will only take place in the afternoon (from 13:00 – 16:30)
- Saturday exams are no longer available
Please note: The August 2022 and March 2023 paper exam dates are NOT AVAILABLE for distance learning students.
Covid-19 has made online exams the more popular choice. So for distance learning students, the amount of venues for paper exams have decreased. There are now only ten ICB-allocated venues for in-person exams. Due to social distancing rules, there is also limited space. If your heart is set on writing a paper exam, make sure to book your spot early.
PoE Completion Deadline
Okay buckle-up, this one’s really important. There is now a Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) completion deadline. This means that your entire PoE must be submitted by the date on the timetable. If it’s not completed and submitted by the due date, you will NOT be allowed to write the exam. This means you’ll have to re-book at your own cost.
Please note: The ICB recommends students try to submit before the due date on the timetable. This will give you enough time to revise your work and deal with any admin or technical issues.
Skills Academy is the word support in every way.
