What a year 2020 has been! With so many things happening, you might be wondering how it will affect studying an ICB Course. Many things are changing. Which ICB Subjects Will be Discontinued?

As of the end of February 2021, the following subjects will be discontinued. More details will be sent to all students in terms of the phasing out of these subjects ahead of time. Take this opportunity to plan your studies and subject choices accordingly.

Entrepreneurship 1, 2 and 3 – These subjects are part of our ICB Entrepreneurship Courses. It teaches you everything you need to know about starting a new business and how to manage it successfully.

Public Accounting Administration – This subject is part of our Public Sector Accounting Courses. It teaches you how to manage the administrative duties of municipal and government accounting.

Technical Public Accounting – This is another Public Sector Accounting Course subject that will be discontinued. This subject teaches you all the skills and knowledge you need to be a public accountant technician.

Why Will These Subjects be Discontinued?

You might be wondering if these subjects were poor quality and didn’t add any value to your course. However, that is not the case. Due to reduced volumes in admission for these subjects, they will be discontinued. You will still be able to enjoy and learn from the extensive range of ICB courses and subjects.

Will This Affect my Qualification?

These subject changes will not affect your course at all. You will still be able to complete your course and get your qualification. Please note: Due to the discontinuation of these subjects, it will not be written during the 2021 ICB Exams. But don’t quit now! Download the 2021/22 Exam Timetable and start planning your exams.
