What you need to know

Entrance Requirements

Skills Academy wants to give all people the opportunity to access quality education. To enrol into this course there are no specific requirements. All you need is the desire to learn, it's that simple with us. 

This programme is taught in English. That means students who are interested should be able to read, write and understand the language.

Accreditation

The Wedding Planning Courses are provider programmes. Skills Academy is a recognised distance learning institution and a certification from us will give you an edge in the job market. It will improve your likelihood of getting employed and earning more. 

Assessment Structure

To pass your course, you need to complete the assignments given to you and a subject test. To pass your assessments you must obtain 50% or higher. You will have plenty of time to prepare and complete these assignments in time. If you fail any of your assessments you can resubmit as many times without any extra charge. 

Plan your studies accordingly for a greater chance at success. 

Subject Outcomes

Subject Description
Introduction to Business English Learn about the different ways to communicate, as well as reading, writing and speaking skills. This subject also teaches you about what to expect from a workplace environment.
Face-to-Face Communication This subject teaches you about verbal and non-verbal communication. Learn how to choose your words carefully and improve your listening ability.
Wedding Planner WP-101 When it comes to planning a wedding, you need to know how to work with a budget. Learn about where and how to get married, as well as how service providers can help you.

Study Upgrade

The great thing about our courses are that we offer many opportunities for you to upgrade your skills. Once you have completed the Wedding Planning Short Course Certificate you can move onto the Wedding Planning Certificate Course to build on your knowledge.
