Entrance Requirements
To enrol for this course, you will need a matric or equivalent qualification. If you don’t meet the requirements, you may look at similar courses that don’t require matric. Or you can do your matric as an adult.
This programme is taught in English. That means students who are interested should be able to read, write and understand the language.
Accreditation
Skills Academy in partnership with Finlite offers the Wealth Management NQF5 Course. Finlite is accredited by Inseta (Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority) to offer this programme.
Assessment Structure
To pass your course, you need to complete online formative assessments and a final written examination (summative assessment) for each module.
Certificate Awarded
When you finish this course you will receive an INSETA Statement of Results. If you are already working in the insurance industry then you will get Your NQF 5 Higher Certificate. Alternatively you will need to complete 6 months of practical work before receiving your full qualification.

Financial Risk Assessment and Needs Analysis (Book A) | In this module, you will gain knowledge on financial trend indicators, its relationship with the macro environment and how to predict the implications of trends on risks. |
Financial Risk Assessment and Needs Analysis (Book B) | An individual's decision made on wealth changes constantly as time goes on. In this module, you will learn how to analyse the needs and wants of an individual at the various stages in their life. |
Wealth Management & Retirement Planning (Book A) | By the end of this module, you should understand the relationships in broad financial services environments. You should have thinking techniques to compile a variety of scenarios for your clients. |
Wealth Management & Retirement Planning (Book B) | At the end of this module, you should be able to help an individual plan for their retirement. This includes its legislation and using the needs of an individual to plan a financial strategy. |
Products Structure and Current Affairs (Book A) | This module will teach you all about medical schemes in relation to insurance and its principles. After completion, you should be able to identify the needs of the client using various information, to help them get the best product, medical scheme and benefits. |
Products Structure and Current Affairs (Book B) | At the end of this module, you should know about health economics in health care, like theory roles, principles and in decision-making. |
