What you need to know

Entrance Requirements

All you need to enter this course is to be able to read and write in English. That’s right, you don't have to worry about having a matric certificate.

Accreditation

This course is a provider programme which means that you won’t receive a certificate from an accredited body, however you will get an award issued to you by Skills Academy.

Assessment Structure

In this course you won’t have any exams. You will only have a Portfolio Of Evidence (POE). Your POE will be made up of two or more assignments and subject tests. To pass this course you will need to achieve a minimum of 50% on all your assessments.

Subject Description
Introduction to Business English This subject Introduces you to communication, verbal and non-verbal communication skills, communication for meetings, and work readiness.
Project Management Basics Teaches you the basics of project management like different types of projects, concepts, frameworks and stakeholders. Also teaches the organisational and socio-economic influences that affect projects key management skills needed and how to manage the different phases and processes of every project.
