Entrance Requirements
There are no requirements to enrol for this course. Skills Academy strives to give those who never finished or went to high school a chance to further their studies. All you need is a basic understanding of the English language. That will help you understand your coursework in order to pass.
Accreditation
This is a non-accredited course that holds a lot of value. This course is designed to give those who never finished school, or don’t have experience, a fair shot at entering the job market. You will gain industry related skills and Skills Academy will issue a certificate of completion after you finish your course.
Assessment Structure
No exams are scheduled for this course. You will be assessed on assignments, PoE’s (Portfolio of Evidence) and subject tests. A mark of 50% is required for each assessment to pass the subject. You can improve your mark if you fail to get more than 50%. All you have to do is reapply to do that assignment - no extra costs are involved.

SHE Representative | This subject equips learners with the knowledge and skills needed to fulfill the role of a safety, health, and environment (SHE) representative. It covers the legal framework for workplace safety, the responsibilities of representatives, and practical activities such as maintaining documentation and fostering safety compliance. |
Organisational Skills | This subject develops essential communication and organizational abilities for health and safety professionals. It covers interpersonal skills, effective communication strategies, and managing meetings to ensure clarity and collaboration within the workplace. |
