Entrance Requirements
There are no entry requirements for our Child Day Care: Certificate Course. We believe in giving everyone equal opportunities to further their education. All that is required from you is that you can speak, write, read and understand English. All your coursework will be presented to you in English and you need a basic understanding of the language to help you pass.
Accreditation
This course is not accredited; it is a Skills Academy Provider Programme. You will receive a Skills Academy Certificate of completion once you have finished the programme. Provider Programmes are designed to equip you with skills to enter the workplace.
Assessment Structure
There are no scheduled examinations for the Child Day Care: Certificate Course. You only need to submit assignments for each subject. Our assessment structure is perfect for students who don’t want to relive doing exams. This method is a great way to make sure students can apply what they have learned to real life scenarios.

Educare Didactics covers the core principles of childcare, while Early Childhood Dev 101 dives deep into understanding a child's development stages from birth to preschool. This combined knowledge will allow you to create a stimulating environment and promote healthy development in children. |
First Aid Concepts | With a solid understanding of child development, First Aid Concepts equips you with essential skills to handle emergencies specific to young children. You'll learn (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) CPR and basic first-aid procedures to ensure the well-being of the children in your care. Knowing how a child's body develops helps you tailor your first-aid response effectively |
Day Care Personnel Development | This subject builds upon the knowledge and skills acquired in the previous subjects. Here, you'll learn how to communicate effectively with children at different developmental stages (as explored in Management in Early Childhood Development 101) and parents (communication skills emphasized in Educare Didactics). You'll also develop conflict resolution skills to navigate challenges that may arise in a daycare setting. |
