Are you organized, detail-oriented, and ready to take on a dynamic role in a fast-paced environment? Skills Academy is seeking a dedicated Collections Administrator to join our team. As a Collections Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Collections Manager and ensuring the smooth operation of our Collections Department.

Responsibilities Include:

Report Assistance:

  • Collaborate with the Collections Manager to generate and manage reports related to collections.
  • Provide support in analyzing data and preparing insightful reports.

Credit and Cancellation Sheet Management:

  • Assist in the maintenance and Collections management of the credits sheet, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Communication Calendar:

  • Create and manage a communication calendar to facilitate effective and timely communication with students.
  • Assist the team by sending SMSes, with training provided.

Meeting Coordination:

  • Book and minute meetings, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Support the manager in coordinating various team gatherings.

Incentives and Team Outings:

  • Organize incentives and team outings to promote team bonding and motivation.
  • Manage daily incentive programs and report on incentive spend to the finance team and manager.

Evening and Weekend Work:

  • Book transport and meals for staff working during these times.
  • Submit all invoices and receipts to the finance department the following day.

Calls:

  • Assist with calls/emails as needed in the department.

Debit Order Contact Sheets/Report:

  • Learn how to operate the Debit Order system – Real Pay. Experience with debit order systems is advantageous.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Matric and any administration qualification.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and team motivation skills.
  • Proficient in report generation and data analysis.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Google Apps, and other relevant software.
