What Does Failing Matric Mean?
Matric exam pass requirements are set up by the National Qualifications Framework(NQF). Failing to meet the minimum pass requirements in your November exams simply means that you are unable to enter into a degree course at this time. Study Without Matric
There are courses you can study that are the equivalent of the Matric certificate. These courses will not give you a NQF 4 matric certificate but will give you an alternative equivalent certificate. With these courses you can go up to a NQF 6 qualification which is the equivalent of a National Diploma Certificate

Non-Accredited Courses
Non-Accredited courses focus on improving your skills. They are not drawn up by a professional body and are only recognised by certain companies. Doing a non-accredited course will give you the skills to do a job that mostly consists of practical work.

Accredited Courses
Accredited courses are set up by an official body like the NQF or South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). These courses meet the educational and skills standards set by them. They can be nationally or internationally recognised. We have business and accounting focused programmes. Our ICB accounting programmes will equip you with the best bookkeeping skills.
There’s programmes consist of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) courses and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants courses.
