What are the  Subjects Required to Study Educare? 

There aren’t any subject requirements regardless of the type of Educare course you want to do. You could choose to study a provider program which doesn’t have any subject requirements or you could choose to do a Nated course. To do a Nated course, you are only required to have a matric certificate but there aren’t any subject requirements. 

Where To Find an Educare Course

You can find Educare Courses at a variety of institutions. All you need to do is some research, meet their entry requirements and get started. Each institution offers different benefits which is just as important to look at when considering your college of choice. 

Institutions that offer Educare Courses: 

Our Courses

We are a distance learning institution. This  means that you won’t attend traditional contact classes. Instead you will study from the comfort of your home. Our Educare Courses are Nated. This means that once you have completed N4, N5 and N6, you will receive a nationally recognised diploma

N4 Educare Course

This N4 Educare course is a 12 month course and is accredited by the QCTO. To enrol you will need to have a matric certificate or the equivalent. This course consists of four subjects, each giving you the basic knowledge you need to move to N5 Educare. 

N5 Educare Course

This N5 Educare course is your second step to getting your diploma. To enrol, you will need to have a matric certificate or the equivalent. In this 24 month course you will do a total of four subjects. 

N6 Educare Course 

The N6 Educare course is the last course. You will need to have a matric certificate or the equivalent to enrol. In this course you will do four subjects which will take you 36 months to complete.  

Related Courses

If you don’t have a matric certificate, don’t be discouraged. There are other options for you. These courses are provider programmes and are open entry. This means that you won’t have to worry about entry requirements, all you need is to be able to read and write in English.
