Entrance Requirements

There are no requirements to enrol for this course. Skills Academy strives to give those who never finished or went to high school a chance to further their studies. All you need is a basic understanding of the English language. That will help you understand your coursework in order to pass.

Accreditation

This is a non-accredited course that holds a lot of value. This course is designed to give those who never finished school, or don’t have experience, a fair shot at entering the job market. You will gain industry related skills and Skills Academy will issue a certificate of completion after you finish your course.

Assessment Structure

No exams are scheduled for the Occupational Health & Safety Representative Short Course. You will be assessed on assignments, PoE’s (Portfolio of Evidence) and subject tests. A mark of 50% is required for each assessment to pass the subject. You can improve your mark if you fail to get more than 50%. All you have to do is reapply to do that assignment - no extra costs are involved.
