Entrance Requirements
There are no requirements to enrol for this course. Skills Academy strives to give those who never finished or went to high school a chance to further their studies. Therefore, all you need to enrol for this course is a basic understanding of the English language. That will help you understand your coursework in order to pass.
Accreditation
This is a non-accredited course that holds a lot of value. This course is designed to give those who never finished school and experience a fair shot at entering the job market. You will gain industry related skills. After completing this course, Skills Academy will issue a certificate of completion.
Assessment Structure
There are no exams scheduled for this course. You will be assessed on assignments, PoE’s (Portfolio of Evidence) and subject tests. A mark of 50% is required for each assessment is required to pass the subject. Students who fail to get more than 50% are can apply to redo their assignment. They won’t be charged extra for this.

Safety First Aid | This subject provides learners with life-saving knowledge and skills to manage emergency situations effectively. It covers human anatomy, emergency procedures, and treatment of common injuries. Practical exercises are included to develop proficiency in first aid application. |
SHE Representative | This subject equips learners with the knowledge and skills needed to fulfill the role of a safety, health, and environment (SHE) representative. It covers the legal framework for workplace safety, the responsibilities of representatives, and practical activities such as maintaining documentation and fostering safety compliance. |
Safety Audit Inspection | This subject focuses on the principles and practices of safety inspections, ensuring compliance with legal and workplace standards. It equips learners with the ability to conduct inspections, prepare reports, and implement remedial and follow-up actions. |
