Entrance Requirements
To enrol for the Human Resource Management Programme and other NATED Courses, you will need a matric or equivalent qualification. If you don’t meet the requirements, you may look at similar courses that don’t require matric. Or you can do your matric as an adult.
This programme is taught in English. That means students who are interested should be able to read, write and understand the language.

Assessment Structure
To pass your course, you need to complete three in-house open book assignments and a final examination. The assignments can be completed in the comfort of your own home. All examinations are set up by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).

Entrepreneurship and Business Management N4 | Learn the different aspects of starting your own business. This subject provides basic knowledge of how to draw up a business plan and all the necessary aspects needed for a business plan. |
Personnel Management N4 | This subject gives you an introduction to personnel functions, such as recruitment and selection to performance appraisals. It also deals with issues like motivation, management and communication. |
Management Communication N4 | Learn about different disciplines of communication, as well as practical activities, such as how to write business communication documents. This subject also covers the theory behind advertising and marketing strategies of an organisation. |
Computer Practice N4 or Introductory Computer Practice N4 | As a student, you will learn the skills needed to perform basic computer functions. This subject also covers Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and basic Internet and email |

Personnel Training N5 | This subject provides you with knowledge on training adults in the workplace, as well as the necessary training and facilitation skills. It also provides a framework for assessing training needs. |
Labour Relations N5 | Labour Relations focuses on monitoring good relationships at the workplace by keeping it free from conflict and dispute through sound communication and providing a framework/system for dealing with various issues. |
Computer Practice N5 | Build on the basic computer skills you have already leant. This subject also covers Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and basic Internet and e-mail functionality. |
Study Upgrade
The great thing about our NATED courses is that you can further your education. After completing the N4 and N5 you can advance to the N6 programme. Once completed and with 18 months practical training, you can get your National Diploma.
