What you need to know

Entrance Requirements

To enrol for the N4 Management Assistant Courses or any other NATED Courses you will need a matric certificate or equivalent. No matric? No problem. Have a look at our other Management Courses that are not NATED, or apply for adult matric with us to broaden your prospects. The programme is taught in English. This means students who wish to apply should be able to write, read and understand the language.

Accreditation

Skills Academy is accredited by the Quality Council For Trades & Occupations (QCTO) to offer you the N4 Management Assistant course.

Assessment Structure

There are three internal assignments you can do at your own pace, and one exam set by the DHET.Note the following important information: Exam opportunities: There are two exam opportunities. May/June and October/November Registration Period: February – May/June exam August – October/November exam

Subject Outcomes

Interested in knowing what you will be learning? This course will equip you to start your career as a management assistant. Here’s what you will learn:

Subject Description
Communication N4 As a management assistant you will need excellent communication skills. Learn more about basic communication principles and social interactions. After completing this course you will have sound knowledge of meeting procedures, how to build relationships, language usage and more.
Office Practice N4 Learn how to work in a team and make use of all company resources. This course is designed to help you deal with clients and equip you with clerical skills. With the skills you gain here you can smoothly adapt to any office.
Introductory Information Processing N4 Learn more about basic communication principles and social interactions. After completing this course you will have sound knowledge of meeting procedures, how to build relationships, language usage and more.
Computer Practice N4 With this course you will learn the basics on how to use computer software. A basic understanding of computers is essential for anyone in the workplace.

Study Upgrade

The great thing about our NATED courses is that you can further your education. After completing the N4 you can advance to the N5 and N6 programmes.
