Entrance Requirements
The entrance requirements for this course is Grade 11 and being able to read and write in English. However if you don’t have Grade 11 you can start with the ICB Financial Accounting Programme which only requires grade 10.
You alternatively can have a NQF level 3 qualification.
Accreditation
This course is accredited by The Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO).
Assessment Structure
With your ICB National Certificate: Small Business Financial Management course you have to submit a Portfolio of Evidence (PoE). 30% of your PoE will consist of formative/interim assessment of activities and exams. A final exam will contribute 70% towards your PoE.

Bookkeeping to Trial Balance | This subject aims to teach you about cash transactions, recording credit transactions and as well as give you basic financial skills and knowledge. |
Business Literacy | Business Literacy will give you the skills to effectively communicate in business environments. This subject focuses on written and verbal communication and numeracy business tools. |
Study Upgrade
Once you have completed the ICB National Certificate: Small Business Management course you can move to the second phase of this certificate and be one step closer to being a small business manager.
