What you need to know

Entrance Requirements

Skills Academy strives to make education accessible to all. Our Educare Certificate Course is one of the many courses you can study without matric. There are no entry requirements for this course, you just need to understand the English language.

Accreditation

This is a provider programme and it is non-accredited. Provider courses are a great way to help students gain skills to enter the workplace. After completion, you will receive a Skills Academy Certificate to show that you have completed your course successfully.

Assessment Structure

There are 2 Multiple Choice Assignments with 50 questions each. Each assignment has 100 marks (50 x 2 marks). Assignment 1 covers the first half of the textbook, and Assignment 2 covers the second half.

Subject Description
Educare Didactics Learn essential methodologies for teaching in a daycare environment. Equip yourself with the techniques to nurture and educate young children.
Daycare Management Develop your skills in managing daycare operations, including staff development, finance, and compliance with regulations.
Child Health Gain knowledge about child health, focusing on nutrition, hygiene, and preventing common childhood illnesses in a daycare setting.
Child Psychology Explore the stages of child development and the psychological factors that influence learning and behavior in young children.

Study Upgrade

This is a secon level course in the Educare Certificate programme. If you wish to further your education, you can do so. Why not enrol for final Educare: Comprehensive Certificate Course?

Lecturers and Tutors

Your friendly tutors and lecturers are available on the phone, in the Together We Pass free online study groups, on email and even on WhatsApp.

Limitless access during office hours.

High contact, supported learning is key your success, so all students are encouraged to use the study groups as much as possible.

What is not included in the fees?

We do not include writing materials or envelopes for you to send your assignments to us.

However, you can upload your assignments here through our Learner Portal, and cut out the price of envelopes out as well!
