Entrance Requirements

This Digital Literacy course is designed to be accessible to learners of all levels, with no formal prerequisites. However, to ensure you get the most out of the program, it's recommended that you have a basic understanding of computers and are comfortable using digital tools. Strong communication and organizational skills will also help you succeed. Additionally, being self-motivated to work independently and manage your assignments on time will ensure a smooth learning experience.

Accreditation

There is no body of accreditation for this course. However, holding this qualification will open doors for you that would have otherwise remained closed without the qualification. It will increase your credibility.  

Assessment Structure

To successfully complete the course, it is essential to follow a structured approach. Each module includes assignments that are designed to assess your understanding of the course material. It is required that all assignments be completed and submitted for each module to fulfill the course requirements. To demonstrate proficiency in the subject matter, students must achieve a minimum score of 50% on all assignments. Additionally, there are no formal exams in the course, which makes it both accessible and manageable for all students.

Computer Essentials: Teaches foundational skills in computer usage, including software, hardware, and basic troubleshooting.
Digital Culture: Provides an understanding of digital habits and tools in daily life.
The World Wide Web: Introduces students to web navigation, search strategies, and safe browsing.
Beyond Productivity Programs: Offers practical skills in productivity software such as word processors, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Once you have officially and successfully completed this course you will receive your digital literacy Certificate and move onto the next comprehensive course.
