What you need to know

Entrance Requirements

To enrol for the CompTIA Network+ Course, you don't need a matric or equivalent qualification. Or any qualification.

This programme is taught in English. That means students who are interested should be able to read, write and understand the language.

Accreditation

Skills Academy in partnership with CompTIA offers the CompTIA Network+ programme. CompTIA is a professional body for IT professionals.  

Assessment Structure

To pass this course, you need to complete two examinations. Each exam takes 90 minutes (1 hour and 30 minutes) to complete. The examinations are made up of performance based questions and multiple choice questions.All examinations are set up by CompTIA.

Subject Outcomes

Here’s what you can expect to learn:

Subject Description
Introduction to Business English This subject teaches you about the different ways of communicating. It also teaches you reading, writing and listening skills, as well as how to handle meetings and presentations.
N+ Networking Get an introduction to networks and networking devices. Also learn about IP addressing, software and hardware tools, and troubleshooting.

Study Upgrade

This course has a validity period of 3 years. To hold your certification for longer, you can take a Network+ CE  programme with CompTIA.

What is not included in the fees?

We do not include writing materials or envelopes for you to send your assignments to us.

However, you can upload your assignments here through our Learner Portal, and cut out the price of envelopes out as well!
