There are three in-house open book assignments (which you can complete at home) and a final exam set by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).
Note: The course fees include all books as well as exam fees. But only one exam session per subject. If you fail an exam, you will have to pay extra to rewrite that exam.

Whether you’re in the process of completing your course, or after you have finished your studies from N4-N6, you’re going to need 18 Months Practical Work experience in order to attain your National Diploma.
