ICB Entry Requirements
Worried you might not meet our ICB entry requirements? Well rest assured, they aren’t as strict as most learning institutions. To study ICB courses, you need to be able to read, write and understand English. Other entry requirements are as follows:

| Junior Office Administration National Certificate Course | Matric or equivalent |
Once you’ve successfully completed your course, you can move up to the next level in your programme. Pass them all and you will earn your ICB diploma.
How old you Need to be to Study ICB Courses
We want to make our ICB Courses accessible to everyone. But there is a minimum age requirement. So if you want to study with us, you need to be at least 16 years old.
Subjects Needed to Study ICB Courses
When you study with us, we will get down to basics to lay the foundation of your education. So you don’t need to have any prior school subjects to study our ICB Courses. Even though prior skills will be an advantage, we aim to introduce you to updated skills so you can get a fresh start.
Get a Headstart With ICB Exemptions
Need a headstart that will boost your career? Then ICB exemptions are what you need. Recognition of prior learning (RPL) allows you to use your qualifications and work experience to kickstart your studies. You still need to meet the minimum entry requirements. But you could be exempt from certain subjects and assessments, moving you closer to your goals.
There are two types of exemptions:
Prior learning exemption – Got a recognised qualification that meets NQF standards? Then use your credits to skip a few modules. You’ll be able to write your final exam in no time.
Work experience exemption – If you have relevant work experience, don’t leave it in the backseat. Complete the required ICB PoE and prove you have the skills you need.
