How Getting a National Diploma Works
Now that you’re convinced that this is the best route to go, you’re probably wondering how it all works. There are two parts attached to getting your National Diploma: theory and practical training.
- To get your qualification you must complete your N4, N5 and N6 courses in a particular field. You can complete these either in breaks or in a time frame between 18-36 months.
- Once you have successfully completed your subjects, you must then do 18 months of practical training in the workplace. This is the final step to getting certified.
The Importance of Practical Experience
Practical experience is essential as it goes hand-in-hand with the theory you will learn. This makes it easier to apply your knowledge in a real life scenario. Employers are drawn to individuals who are educated and have practical skills. This will make you stand out from the rest of the crowd.
