Desk Clerk

A desk clerk performs regular clerical, secretarial and administrative work such as answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, data processing, and record-keeping. A desk clerk is responsible for  developing and maintaining office forms and procedures, and assists with administrative tasks, answering calls, receiving the public and answering questions, in person and by telephone, responding to inquiries, duplicating and distributing materials, composing, typing and editing correspondence, reports, memoranda and other material and maintaining office supply inventory.
