Frequently Asked Questions

A nursery is a place where young children go to learn and play usually before they start school. It is like a preschool where children can develop their social and cognitive skill in a structured environment.

On the other hand a crèche is a facility that provides care for babies and toddlers while their parents are at work or busy with other commitments.

As mentioned before crèches focus more on providing basic care and supervision to younger children like toddlers or infants. While day care centers may offer services in early childhood education they also cater to older children up to school age whereas crèches only focus on the very young.

Skills learned from a crèche management course focus on how to run a crèche and it provides valuable knowledge on how to effectively manage and care for young children.

In order to become a crèche owner having a teaching degree is not always required. While having a background in education can be helpful, it is not a strict requirement.

There are plenty of childcare courses and crèche management courses you could take depending on how you would like to help in the business.
