What are the Entry Requirements to Study the CIMA Certificate?

You should be 16 years and older, understand English, and have an understanding of Maths, which is highly recommended. The CIMA certificate is called the entry-level qualification for a reason because you don’t need knowledge of the industry.

Yes, you do. You will receive the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting. After passing this course, you can use the credentials CIMA Cert BA after your name.

How Long Does it Take to Complete?

You can complete it in 12 – 18 months. According to CIMA, most of the students complete the course within a year.

How Many Exams do you Have to Take?

You need to take four exams. It consists of four Objective Tests, one per subject. Objective Tests are computer-based assessments with short questions, like multiple choice and fill-in-the-gap questions. These exams are 2-hour long question papers. Your results will be available immediately or within 48 hours of taking the exam.
