• Which one helps me get a job faster?
  A skills course will usually help you find a job sooner. These courses focus on specific job skills and many can be completed faster than an Adult Matric. One student shared, “The course I did will definitely improve my life… I can work myself up to get a better position”
  
  An Adult Matric is a valuable certificate, but it takes longer because you need to complete several subjects (much like finishing high school). If you need a job now, a skills course can be the quicker path. You can always do your Adult Matric later as well – it’s never too late to add that qualification when you’re ready.
  
  
  
• What if I want to study further one day?
  If you dream of further studies (like a diploma or degree), an Adult Matric is often the way to go. Many advanced courses or universities require a Matric certificate for entry. That said, doing a skills course now doesn’t close any doors. You can gain a useful skill certificate first and still choose to get your Matric afterwards. For example, you might start with a skills course now to boost your CV and confidence. Once you have that certificate (and maybe a new job), you could tackle Adult Matric next. Or you could do it the other way around: get your Adult Matric first, then take a skills course to specialize in something you love. It’s all up to you. There’s no rule that you can’t have both qualifications. In fact, gaining one can motivate you to go for the other.
