Assessment

For the NATED Legal Secretary Courses, there are three open-book assignments for each subject. These can be done at home, making it easier for you to study at your own pace. After completing the assignments, you’ll take a final exam.

The Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) sets the exams, which are held twice a year:

  • May/June
  • October/November

Remember to register for your exams early. Registration opens in February for the mid-year exams and in August for the year-end exams.
