ICB Bookkeeping Courses:

ICB National Certificate: Bookkeeping (Junior Bookkeeper)

This is a NQF level 3 certificate that focuses on all the basic aspects of being a good bookkeeper so that once you have completed the course you can work as a professional.

ICB FET Certificate: Bookkeeping (Certified Senior Bookkeeper)

This is an NQF level 4 certificate that will allow you to complete many different modules that will teach you all the necessary skills.  However there are also a few more advanced modules such as Cost and Management Accounting modules.

ICB Accounting Courses:

ICB National Diploma: Technical Financial Accounting

This is the first of Skills Academy’s ICB accounting diplomas. During this course you will learn the more advanced skills in the commerce field. While still learning the same basics that you would from the ICB certificates.

ICB National Diploma: Certified Financial Accounting

This is Skills Academy’s most advanced ICB Accounting course. This course handles all the accounting modules that Skills Academy has. Teaching you the most advanced skills that will ensure that you have the best chance to succeed in the accounting field.

ICB Assessments and Exam

The ICB have a Portfolio of Evidence you have to complete while doing your ICB course. Your tests and assessments go in the portfolio, that you need to finish to get your qualification. You will then hand this in when you do your exams. These exams take place four times a year.

The ICB is a supplier of professional bookkeeping and accounting courses in South Africa. The ICB offers qualifications that span over many different areas of the business field. Then once you have an ICB qualification you can become part of ICB’s official body.
